- Payroll data entry in line with an agreed cut off schedule;
- Bulk upload of permanent and temporary data;
- Monthly payroll processing and production of all relevant supporting reports, e.g. Element Breakdown, Changes Report, Exception Reports, BACS Report, P32 Employer’s Payment Report;
- Bespoke report writing providing automatic interface with existing accounting systems;
- Ongoing statutory reporting i.e. P45, P46;
- Monthly payslips via our secure online self service facility;
- Direct interface between payroll software and online banking facilities;
- Multi currency functionality. To date payrolls have been processed in GB Pounds, Dirhams, USDs, EUROs, Norwegian, Danish and Swedish Kroner;
- Statutory payments, e.g. PAYE and National Insurance;
- Third Party Payments to benefit providers;
- End of year statutory reporting including P11Ds;
- Deal with any HMRC queries as appointed Agent;
- The provision of ongoing support and query resolution;
- Automatic updates and upgrades;
- Employee net payments from Q&A client account either via BACS (3 working days or same day Faster Payment) or CHAPS (same day payment in an emergency);
- Automated bulk SWIFT payments via international payment processing partner.
The payroll software
Q&A payrolls are processed via two systems:
- Star Payroll Professional for UK Payrolls
- Integrated International Payroll Management System (iiPay) for International Payrolls
